Bruton is a lovely village with lots of great independent shops so when you go there you have to eat At the Chapel though it is advisable to book ahead as it's very popular.

Seasonal cooking using their own organic produce you really are tasting the real Somerset. The organic garden is also well worth a visit and you can eat in their cafe too. Book though as it gets really busy.

These are fabulous fish and chips but you must walk around the lake first so you can sit there and feel guilt free!

The biggest and most interesting is the Frome Independent running on the first Sunday of every month from March until December. Lots of independent stall holders offering a great variety of food, crafts and lots lots more.

An amazing National Trust home that will have you fascinated with it's beauty and history. The gardens are breathtaking and trot along to Alfreds Tower through the woods, idyllic!
