Go here! this is amazing! Please make sure to make reservation for dinner, otherwise just go there for drinks or coffee etc. open from 10:00 till 02:00 except on mondays when they are closed. In the weekend they also open up the old school next to the place and have underground deep/tech parties with are pretty good! Remember its only 8 minutes walking from our home and worth a visit to chill out or have great dinner!
(not to be disappointed: if you see the place during day it seems closed in front. But walk on street further between office buildings and go left en left. you will see :)

nice evening sun! nice place! The best way to walk is trough the park because of nature. Its fairly easy, you walk from our house to the park just one street away and when you enter turn left on the main road in the park (bikes and walking). Just walk to end of park where you find a school on the right side. turn left there and walk 5 minutes straight to you see the bridge. before the bridge you will find the restaurant bar. If you walk a few hundreds meters more, you will walk straight into the Vondel Park, which you also must have seen. It’s always crowded with People walking, sporting or just having BBQ etc. People sometimes compare it with central park in New York. It’s the oldest park in Amsterdam.

foodhallen is a mix of food corners and bars in an old train station and under a roof. it has nice atmosphere and definitely worth a visit when it is somewhat rainy (also when sunny)

Getting Around
You can easily travel form here to rest of city! Check google maps for time tables. But departure is about every 10 minutes so no hurry;) You can directly take a tram to Central station with also brings you trough city centre. It's 4 minutes walking from our home!
Take tram 17 from central station to get to our place and check out at: Postjes weg/hoofdweg. (you can ask assistant in tram if you are insecure)
