We fika here pretty much every day. We also had our wedding reception here. Cool and relaxed. Italian. At lunch try the Penne a la Vodka - simple and amazing. Outdoor seating that gets sun in the afternoons and evenings. Also has seating in a sunny garden in the back.

Hip vibe, somewhat new, great food. I'll classify this as "continental". The wine guy is amazing, ask him for a suggestion and just say yes - everything is perfection. Good idea to book ahead but it can be possible to drop by. Expensive but great pizzas. Outdoor seating that gets sun in the afternoons and evenings.

Amazing noodles and kimchi. We had our first date here. Doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is cheap and really, really good.

Book ahead. This is our favourite restaurant in the area. French. Small, cozy, great service. Small menu so the chefs really get a chance to get it right, and they do get it right every single time. Great value for your money.

It's a bit of everything here. Cafe, restaurant, FANTASTIC food shop. Go up to the roof with your lunch or to enjoy a drink. A path calmly snakes through, revealing quiet places to sit in some grass and take in the view. Great vibes.

Great pancakes and other breakfast items. Can be a stressing experience depending on the time of day you go because the seating is a free for all. Ironically I bring my own maple syrup because they only serve the fake stuff.

Kebab. Majorly hyped. This guy cultivated a large following on Instagram traveling the world and trying all the kebab he can. Now he runs his own show. Tiny, stylish, yummy. Pricy for a kebab but worth it.

Closest place to go dancing. Open till 03:00 Wednesday to Sunday. Supposed to be wildly fun. Was a shoe shop a million years ago and they just never changed the name when they turned it into a club.

Part restaurant part club. Don't stop at the host, just walk all the way to the back of the restaurant to find where all the young party people go to start their night. Great music, multiple bars, very lively. The most "Södermalm" type place to survive in snooty Östermalm.

My favorite swimming spot. Go down the hill on the path and you'll find cliffs. Follow along the handrail along the cliffs to find the better places to lay down and enjoy the sun. The water can be warm here.
