Best Museum in the area in my opinion. Fine Arts to Classical, to just a beautiful set of grounds, gardens, mazes, and a playground under the Banyon Trees for the kids. It is a wonderful place, and even better on Monday's when it is Free to the public.

Fun place to go and watch a sunset, let kids play in the sand, watch the boats come into the marina, have a cocktail and listen to live music. The food is bar food, but it would suffice for a quick meal.

Siesta Key is a world-renowned Beach about 10 minutes away from this cottage. Although the Beach can get busy, the Village at Siesta Key is fun for a bit of nightlife (on the younger side), and the Beach is a must see just for the white sand and the expansiveness (nearly like 7-8 miles long of perfect white sand). Great playground near the main parking area.

Drive another 2 minutes down the road, and you'll see one of the best beaches in the area (Lido Beach). Parking can get busy on high season and holidays, but it is worth it.

Park at the Cottage and walk into downtown Sarasota very easily. Everything in town is a 10 min walk or less from the Cottage, so just check out your Maps App and you'll be able to access anything you want from shopping, dining, spas, sunset views, etc.
