For more intense camping excursions, there's the Bob Marshall Wilderness. 1.2M acres of untouched land - no electricity or any sort is allowed inside.
You must plan, and travel in & out by horse with packers. Not for the faint of heart!

Ski Resort in Whitefish features many great runs!
Known for it's wild horses, record breaking big horn rams, and scenic views! A great place to hike, have a picnic and sight-see.
Plan to get there by boat, kayak, or ask the local marina for boat shuttles!
