Most people don't realize it, but Historic Downtown Hot Springs IS part of the park! BUT, there are hiking trails, and hot springs. Get your own bottle of this healing water to take home!

Garvan Gardens is great for kids and grandma alike! If you're bringing grandma, there are wheelchairs available and/or you can get a golfcart. They will also pick you up at the docks. It's beautiful in the spring when the Azaleas are in bloom!

This is actually a really great italian restaurant. Off the lake, unassuming, great service, and we have never been disappointed in the food!

Did someone say Taco's? This isn't convenient to our house, but you won't be sorry you took the extra 5 minutes to get there. If you are out and about and need a good lunch or dinner, head over!

Sam's Pizza - Great food, great live music! Sometimes crowded!
Fisherman's Warf - You have to go at least once, if not just to feed the fish, turtles and ducks! But otherwise, kind of overpriced and okay food.
Trejo's Mexican - Who doesn't love a margarita on the lake? I really like this place.
Cajun Boilers - Seafood at decent prices!
Bourbon on the Bay - Great for cocktails, Sam's pizza and live music!
Futrell Marine - Get some Ice Cream and a Doggie treat!
Bubba's Brews - We mostly enjoy drinks on the rooftop, and stick with the sandwiches and burgers!
Back Porch - FANCY! Love it.

Grocery Stores
There is a Neighborhood Wal-Mart 5 minutes away, which is really handy. For real grocery shopping I prefer Kroger on Airport road. There is also a Sam's about 10 minutes away.
