Cruise on up to the summit of Haleakala volcano. It’s like being on the surface of Mars. At 10,023’ you will need warm clothes because it’s above the clouds. There are some tours that take you to the summit for sunrise and then you ride a bike down.

Go up and over the north end of Big Beach. BEWARE!!! You will encounter more adventurous sunbathers. Not a beach for the modest. Sundays draw big crowds for the drum circle.

2 hour hike with an AMAZING waterfall. I do not recommend getting too close to the falls. Even when there's full sun, flash floods can be taking place further up the volcano. I have seen this waterfall go from a gentle cascade to a raging waterfall in seconds.
