Rapallo is the pearl of Tigullio and the oldest town in this area. You can visit the seafront castle built in the 16th century against Saracen invasions, the ancient bridge, the legend says it was crossed by Hannibal during the 2nd Punic War, and the several Baroque buildings reaching up to the sky.

- Pansoti con salsa di noce: it’s a filled pasta, with inside herbs and ricotta cheese, with over walnuts sauce
- Ravioli al tocco: it’s a filled pasta with stuffed veal and meat sauce
- Fried squid and anchovies: a crispy main course from the sea
- Focaccia: it’s a Ligurian kind of bread, a street food. You can eat also at breakfast with your espresso
- Farinata: another Ligurian street food, farinata is a bread made from chickpea flour.
