A seaside town famous for being the home of the late Eric Morecambe of Morecambe and Wise fame.Morcambe Bay has stretches of lovely beaches for leisurely walks,along with a long promenade which ends at The West End Gardens.Why not visit The Midland hotel for Afternoon Tea whilst looking out to sea?

A lovely tranquil holiday village set around a large lake. All the homes in the village are lodges which are nicely situated to afford as much privacy as possible.
The village hosts its own bar and restaurant The Waters Edge which serve Coffees, Lunch and Dinner. We have found booking essential.
There is also a Pool and Gym area ( charges apply) and a spa on site offering a range of relaxing treatments.
Perfectly situated for both The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales
South Lakeland Leisure Village
A lovely tranquil holiday village set around a large lake. All the homes in the village are lodges which are nicely situated to afford as much privacy as possible.

Ambleside is a Great Lake District town! Definitely worth a visit, many cafes and restaurants! Also great lakeside views and a ferry stop! You can enjoy the waterfall at Stock Ghyll Force!
A must stop is the Apple Pie bakery

Great for Children
Just 2 minutes down the road is GREENLANDS FARM VILLAGE a great place for smaller children with a wide range of animals to see,pet and feed.A straw barn to play in and pedal go karts.There is also a farm shop and a cafe.

This farm offers lots! From a crazy mini golf course, a farm shop full of local produce, a cafe and best of all ANIMALS!
You can look at all the animals and feed them too! (If you ask the staff they will get any animal out you wish to hold or pet!)

Fabulous place! Super paddle board and kayaks to hire! You can have a single kayak, a double, a paddle board for all the family or individual ones!
The guys are super friendly and let you do you’re own thing going off on the lake to explore the mini islands!

A lovely gastro pub in a beautiful little village. The morecambe bay potted shrimp was delicious. Only 6 minutes from the Lodge too.
