Fabulous place, wonderful couple who run it and the food is superb. It’s all about the tapas, sharing, tasting and eating what you fancy! Great place, highly recommended!

FANTASTIC coffee, very small but very cosy and chatty. Lovely staff, great to read the papers, people watch or just enjoy a good coffee and that view. Also does lovely light snacks. Well worth going

Fantastic uninterrupted sea views. Lots of terrace space to enjoy outside dining and drinks plus indoor restaurant and bar. Dog friendly.

Beautiful thatched pub. Loads of seating inside and out. Lots of covered heated seating outside too in the beautifully lit garden. Lovely pub. Good pub food and cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Beautiful fishing village, great for a stroll along the waterfront, good fish and chips, restaurants and gift shops. Fantastic coffee shop on the front. Fishing trips can be booked from here.

My favourite day out is a walk down to Clovelly harbour and a visit to the Red Lion then on to my absolute favourite pub, The Old Smithy at Welcombe for supper. Great food, fantastic atmosphere, a great couple running this freehouse and, if your really lucky, regular live music. Or if not, try the jukebox, a turntable and an old suitcase full of LPs! Love it!

Beautiful burrows (commonland for grazing horses and sheep) - runs parallel to Westward Ho! beach, separated by the Pebble Ridge. Lovely walk and views.
