This is a delicious, longtime Tampa favorite- expect to spend some hours (and some money) here. Try to save some room for the dessert room upstairs- it’s an experience all on its own (you can also just go for dessert if you want too!). Reservations generally needed, call them.

They serve delicious Chinese food (this is not your average Chinese carry out place, although you can take food to-go). Make sure you try their salt&pepper appetizers (my favorite is their calamari)- a little bit spicy but soooo good!

Laid back Columbian grill restaurant with reasonable prices- this is a place my family always asks to go when they come to town. They also have a large bakery window right in the restaurant to choose sweets to carry home after if you choose.

Small dessert based place- they have macaroons, delicious special cakes and pies by the slice (or whole), homemade ice cream and other specialty treats. Limited evening hours only a few days a week right now, so catch them when you can. The guava cake is my personal favorite right now :)

This is the 24/7 local diner. Great place to grab some grub in the middle of the night. You can expect to see a wide variety of people here, including the cops working the overnight shift. Alpine liquor (a local favorite) is right across the road too!

A fancier restaurant with a menu that frequently changes to offer delicious food options. There is a stand-alone tea shop with comfy chairs where you can order a drink while you wait for your table to be ready (or just visit for some tea!)
