Take a trip up the coast and look at the Elephant seals. They're huge, loud and such a cool experience to add to your trip. Stop along the cute surrounding cities on your way back.

What to pack:
Due to Morro Bay's ever changing weather and lovely fog, it's always best to pack a light jacket as when the fog rolls in unannounced, it can get cold. Also, always pack flip flops when coming to the coast. No one likes walking the beach in sneakers!

Getting around:
There is generally plenty of parking in this area. Morro Bay is a smaller, quiet town, so ubers are around, but not as often since it isn't a crazy populated area. Morro bay also has a transit bus, dial-a-ride, and biking if you need other transportation.
