This is another re-fill place! Love it!! This (and Basic Refill) are stores that help me live zero waste! Lots of great, non-toxic shampoos/creams/cleaners - and you can bring your own container!

A shop within walking distance - can bring your own container and get some various creams (shea butter, shampoo, conditioner) etc and other great items too. The owner is very kind and helpful.

This used to be Gorilla Foods, now it's this - and looks similar with similar food. It is on the pricier side, but it's good, whole, nutritious food, plus they have Kombucha on tap!

Delicious pizza (and others) family friendly, a nice patio - walking distance from my place or bus. They use bullfrog power for their energy - green gas, and strive for ethical/local food choices.

A nice beach, a bit quieter than English Bay/Sunset Beach - also I would say the water is likely cleaner here to swim in, but still want to be careful. Oil spills have happened - no more tankers!

This is a great little trail - accessible by public transit, which is always a plus! A beautiful look-out from the edge, and isn't too long to get to - half hour or so? Find more details online!

Super close and happens every Saturday from 9am-2pm in the summer months, into early fall (check online to ensure still happening!) I used to bring my compost here before we got it in our building!

Burnaby Mountain is public land (on unceded Indigenous territories) that has a great view, and nice trails - a designated Conservation Area. We are working to keep it safe from pipeline wreckage.

This is an awesome shop to get homesteady type items - I learned how to make soap here, and I get my soap making supplies here now too! Anything homesteady - it's likely there!
