Long beach with sand and an interesting taverna on the back worth visiting for its local ingredients !
It is definitely the MUST visit place ! Historically the most important area of the island !! During 40’s and 50’s it was the financial center of the island because there was situated the HQ of the mining company that extracted iron from the caves that you can see all around Mega Livadi Village . There is also the bridge that was used to transfer the iron from the wagons to the boats to transport it to Lavrion ! There are also two tavernas with local Greek cuisine worth visiting !
