If you are here in spring and early summer, you must go check out this spot! Hundreds of varietals of beautiful roses and amazing views of Mt.Hood and Downtown Portland. Easy hiking trails and Japanese Gardens are near by as well.

Food scene
This is my favorite restaurant in town! The owners are originally from New Orleans so very authentic Cajun and Southern inspired dishes that won’t break the bank. They have a great brunch menu as well but very popular so might be a 45 min wait on weekends.

This is my wife and my go to breakfast spot. Great service and food and usually not too long of a wait. Great coffee too!

My friend Ezra owns this music venue and gastro pub. If you want to see music during your stay..The Alberta Street is doing socially distanced shows on their beautiful patio but get tickets in advance because due to limited capacity most shows are selling out.

Max trains
Max train is a great way to get downtown and to the airport. The max stops in the terminal at airport. Closest stop from our home is Lloyd Center (2 miles)or Hollywood Transit (4.5 miles away). Blue or Green line go to downtown and PDX. Most lines begin service at 4am but end right before midnight.
