The Brecon Beacon National park is a 40 minute car journey from Llanharan. It has spectacular views. If your brave enough to climb to the top of pen y fan it is worth the photo at the top of the stone

This area is breath taking if you like hiking this is the place to visit. The water falls are spectacular but be mindful its going to be a hike not a walk

Llanharan is a vibrant village with plenty of pubs and cafes to eat out, the village is surrounded by beautiful mountains, the open cast which boasts 5 man-made lakes and is a haven for wildlife. There are cycle tracks that will take you along the taff trail. Llanharan is 12 minutes train ride from Cardiff City Center making it easy to attend concerts/events. Llanharan train station is a 5 minute walk from the property

Ogmore by sea is a beautiful hidden jem only where locals cycle, surf and hike. It can be difficult to reach withouta car but there are buses that leave from Bridgend.

This is the most beautiful beach I have ever visited. It is a place of natural beauty where the water is clean and blue. The beach is never full great for hikers and surfers as its next to Rosilli Bay beach

Local transport is easily accessible using the trains and buses to get around is a good way to enjoy what Wales has to offer. The parking in Cardiff can be costly but there is a park and ride just outside the city. Cardiff is a safe place to explore. You can hire bikes when in the city for a daily rate
