This rope bridge crosses a 30m deep and 20m wide chasm from the mainland to a small island. The bridge was erected by salmon fishermen. Booking tickets in advance, on the National Trust website, is recommended.

To access the island, you use the Rathlin Island Ferry service from Ballycastle. There are a number of points of interest on this small island (6 miles across) including the Seabird Centre offering a chance to view Atlantic puffins, razorbills and guillemots around April/May, and you can explore the fully operational ‘upside down’ lighthouse. Guided walks, bus tours and cycle hire are also available.
