Big Surf Waterpark
954 State Highway YJust a 14 minute drive to enjoy a fun family day in the sun. Something for all ages to make the most of your trip. Pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic (or plan to pay park fees for food), I believe you can leave and come back with a hand stamp.
We arrived by water from our condo, about a 20 minute adventure. 10 mins by drive, directory across KK.
I have only enjoyed the free outside pool and bar. They have food and Landshark Beer. There is a fun play area for the kiddos with slides. They provide towels.
There is an Indoor water park, spa, arcade, all activities with cost.

Sightseeing
Just over the dam turn right up a hill to an observatory with a great view and a little history of the area and dam.
Visit the strip of local shops while your there for some souvenirs.
Bagnell Dam

1491 Missouri DI felt like Indiana Jones going over a smaller wire suspension bridge to get to the main attraction. This sight is about 30 mins away from the condo, a good combo sight with Bagnell Dam. The larger bridge is blocked off to drive or walk across, but you can take pictures and walk underneath it to the river/creek edge. Get outdoors!
Gravel road for a short bit of the drive!

I felt like Indiana Jones going over a smaller wire suspension bridge to get to the main attraction. This sight is about 30 mins away from the condo, a good combo sight with Bagnell Dam. The larger bridge is blocked off to drive or walk across, but you can take pictures and walk underneath it to the river/creek edge. Get outdoors!
