Brighton is great for a fun day out. Shopping in the quirky Lanes area, great restaurants and bars, a fun fair on the pier are just a few of the attractions. Best to go on the train from Eastbourne as parking is a nightmare and expensive. All the attractions are a short walk from the railway station.

The best chips in Eastbourne on the right at the pier entrance. This fish and chip shop featured in the film 'Angus, thongs and perfect snogging'. Also fruit machines, ice cream, cafe etc. At the end of the Pier is a bar called A drop in the Ocean with outdoor seating and live music at weekends.
