One of the most popular Cotswold villages boasting a bird sanctuary and a model village as well as fabulous eateries; A wonderful day out to be had by all.
Bredon hill is the closest Hill to the house, and you can see it distinctive ridge wherever you go in the area. We climb it regularly from the door (although it is not for the faint hearted, a good 6 hour trek). If thats not your style you can climb it from many of the little villages near by, some easy and some a little more challenging, we can provide you with maps and advice to get you up there and enjoy the views.

Bredon hill is the closest Hill to the house, and you can see it distinctive ridge wherever you go in the area. Famous for their beauty these hills are on the horizon wherever you go in this part of the world. Just 45 minutes from the house, the well trodden paths and accessibility of these hills makes this a great day for all the family. The views from the top are unrivalled in the area.

We love the calming scent of lavender. Combine your trip to Snowshill manor with a visit to the Lavender fields, walk through the crops and breath in the beauty - then pop to the gift shop and buy yourself a treat.

Westonbirt is the national Arboretum and probably the most well know in the country. It is in our opinion simply the best arboretum we have ever visited. It is about an hours drive from the house but well worth a visit, it is dog friendly and has a wonderful cafe.

If you don't want to travel so far to Westonbirt Arboretum - Batsford Arboretum is about a 25 minute drive from the house and a close second in our opinion. Whilst there you can visit the beautiful Village of Bourton on the Hill.

The nearest nice beach is 1 hour and 40 minutes from the house. South of the bus beach resort of Weston-super-mare this pleasant little spot offers parking, toilets and a simple cafe managed by the national trust (free parking for members).

You can come and Learn to stand up paddle board with us on the gorgeous river avon. We can cater for all abilities and run kids sessions during the holidays. An amazing way to see the countryside and relax whilst learning a new skill.

Another delightful stroll from the house will bring you to the riverside village of Fladbury. The Village has not one but two pubs and more importantly the utterly marvellous Fladbury pie shop. Not to be missed by any self respecting food lover - these pies are well worth the walk.

Revills is a family owned business with friendly staff, wonderful produce and a lovely cafe, outdoor seating and stunning views. If you paddle with us this is a great spot to have lunch afterwards, and if you don't there are great walks from the shop and free parking.
