The Towpath along Regent's Canal is great for an afternoon stroll. There are lots of cute house boats on either side of the canal. On Sunday you usually see them swap places. Also a great way to walk to Broadway market on Saturday...

Amazing Vietnamese place. Not on Kingsland road with all the other Vietnamese restaurant, but totally worth going to. There's always a queue, but it usually takes 10 minutes or less to get a table.

Local pub, proper english, but with a popup pizza shop in the corner. They make amazing pizza that goes great with a craft ale. Also they do pub quiz on Tuesdays.

The top end of brick lane is very well knows for it's vintage clothing shops. The bottom end has a plethora of Indian restaurants. They are quite aggressively advertising their restaurants, so don't go into any one unless they promise you a free starter, a free drink and 20% off... A good backup if it all get's too much is Aladin.

They are quite aggressively advertising their restaurants, so don't go into any one unless they promise you a free starter, a free drink and 20% off... A good backup if it all get's too much is Aladin.
