This place is so worth the drive to Wappingers Falls because they literally have the best breakfast and lunch sandwiches in the entire Hudson Valley. (And they serve adult beverages.) They bake their own bread and biscuits from scratch on site and they even make their own bacon and it is the best bacon you will ever eat in your life.

Benmarl is such a pleasant place to visit and the wines (considering NY does not have the California's rep) are truly superb. And it's ridiculously close.

It's a mostly sour beer brewery. If you love sours, this is a must-see. And if you don't particularly care for sours, they have a few other varietals and if you talk to the bartenders you'll be pleasantly surprised to find yourself enjoying the less intense sours that wake up your palate. And they serve pizza!

I'm not sure who the owner murdered to source such amazing cheeses and meats and chocolate and other sundries but all of her stuff is amazing. I've never had Taleggio that tastes anywhere near as good as hers... So good and reasonable prices.
