A typical dutch bar "bruine kroeg". Great place to have a drink on Friday/Saturday night, but also a lot of fun to have a drink & snack (on the terrace) on Saturday afternoon after you have visited the street market.

Leiden is full of hidden almshouses "hofjes", this is just 1 of them. Beautiful little houses from the old days. You can visit them all with a tour or ask for a special map with route at Leiden tourist office.
