A two-minute walk down the hill and you are at a beach on this lake. It is absolutely beautiful! Great fishing and sightseeing.

This is a 10-minute car ride on the other side of Mary Lake. There is a beach here and a local variety store to get ice cream while you take a stroll to the beach. Great fishing off the docks in this area.

A trail to the top of the lookout is a great adventure. Just a short walk to an amazing view! Just about 5-10 minutes from the cottage to the start of the trail.

This is one of the few places in the area to rent boats. You can rent a boat here and drive it through the locks to MBC where you could pay for a spot at the marina if this is something you are interested in. Alternatively, you could just rent a boat for the day and stay in Fairy Lake where the Marina is located. You can drive the boat from the marina right into Huntsville as well for lunch or a break.

We went here for my husband's 50th birthday with our 17 and 20-year-old sons. It was so much fun! They teach and then take you for an adventure! Adventures must be pre-booked in order to ensure a spot. My boys loved it!
