Wine and Dine
Launceston offers almost 200 restaurants, cafes and take-aways. I have listed the restaurants in order of proximity to ‘The Grange’, in a circuitous route for ease of travelling and locating them. If you enjoy fine dining, I recommend the restaurants that I have marked as 5 Star. I have not experienced them all, so would love to know your thoughts if you do.
Only 5kms from Grange Farm, this is the closest restaurant/take away and is only 2kms from the CBD. Right next to the Newstead Hotel Bar and Bistro. You can’t miss them as the hotel/ pizzeria is right in front of you at the first set of lights.

5 Star! Down Tamar Street and across the bridge in Invermay. Superb Chinese dining with silver service. Try one of the banquets, the food is amazing and well priced with an extensive wine list. They also do take away.
