Sightseeing
Hop on the coastal train at St Ives, change at St Erth and the station at Penzance is perfectly placed for town, beach walk or walk to Newlyn. Take your camera its a great journey!

Buses are seasonal as are opening & tidal hours so check first. Well worth a visit & very near to Penzance

Straight down Porthmeor Hill & follow signs & headland left. Well worth the walk & if you feel its too far plenty of view points & just turn around!

Probably my favourite walk from St Ives mainly because at the end of it you have the lovely Carbis Bay Hotel for a drink on the terrace overlooking the spectacular beach. Look out for the seals!

5 mins walk down hill if you dont fancy the exhibitions then go to top and have a coffee or snack with amazing views. Cafe is free to enter

Like a long walk ? taking you via Carbis Bay, Lelant Beach & Road its lovely. Great bus, train service or by car. Lots of nice walks through town or visit the amazing sand dunes.
