This iconic spot is what sold me on Venice as my new home. I love to fish there, sunset watch, watch the boats, almost every time I see manatees, dolphins, birds, and waves crashing on the rocks is mesmerizing. Get there an hour or two before sunset during the months of Oct. thru March if you want a good parking spot for it's a very popular spot. There is also a small food venue there for light snacks.

If you are looking for a great kayak, canoe launch area then this one is really neat.

A must for families with little ones. This area has a nature center, a huge playground, tennis, basketball, bike riding trials, hiking trails, and situated along the inter-coastal water way for wonder sights and even some fishing.

People love strolling down the sidewalks of Historic downtown Venice. Shopping, restaurants, drinks, and all in unique atmosphere. This is the main hub of Venice Island and leads down to the main Venice Beach public parking. There are shops on Miami Ave, Venice Ave, and Tarpon Ave. so have fun walking walking and exploring the many sights, tastes, and sounds of this Historic downtown. Keep an eye out for the trolley and enjoy a ride around.
