Take a day trip to Harbour Town and visit the lighthouse museum for an incredible view of the harbor and PGA golf course. Small fee to enter but worth the history and view. The harbor has shops, restaurants and of course ice cream.

Shelter cove Marina is just under 2 miles from the house at the south end of shelter cove. It has 7 restaurants, outdoor dining, shopping, boat rentals, summer concerts and seasonal fireworks. Definitely a place you need to visit when you are on the island.

Great place to bring your horse lover and kids for a pony ride. Just inside sea pines. Sea pines requires a daily pass. 9$ per car to enter and enjoy all sea pines has to offer.
