Tulum Beach Clubs
Playa Paraiso is my favorite beach club to recommend. It has 3 different chair rental options - you pay to rent the chair and are required to buy your food and drinks from the restaurant. Typical fee per person is 300p for the chair / bed rental. There is a bathroom with outdoor showers and a full service restaurant. Parking is included with the chair fee. Make sure you bring your receipt from the restaurant to the parking lot, the parking attendant will require it for both cars and bikes. Approximate taxi fare from La Veleta neighborhood is 200p each way, depending on the taxi driver. Beer is the cheapest option, cocktails are much more. You can discretely bring snacks or a small cooler, but the wait-staff may ask you to put it away -- discreteness helps. At the beach "T" head towards the ruins - left at the "T" of the beach road, almost to the ruins to reach Playa Paraiso.

This means you get the bed for free, but you need to buy at least 500p of food / drinks *per person. Great area, sometimes has DJ music later in the afternoon. To reach this club, turn right at the beach "T" intersection.

Food scene
Ki-bok is the most "hopping" and popular cafe in Tulum. Located on a popular "party street", it's a great place for espresso, WiFi, breakfast food, and just to hang out. There are often street vendors outside of Ki-Bok. *** Next to Ki-Bok is Tulum's most hopping bar - "Batey Mojito Bar". At night, Batey offers live music and is extremely popular, often running a line. There are many people and street vendors in this area at night, be aware of your surroundings and there are often drugs being offered in this area - be careful, safe, and follow all local laws!!!! Batey has mixed compliance of Covid safety, be careful on crowded conditions.

Huge grocery store. Basically the only huge grocery store in Tulum. Many non-food options and full drug-store pharmacy. I recommend this is the best place to shop for large grocery, alcohol, and non-food needs.

This is a great ice cream shop, located near many interesting stores and restaurants in a locals area. Highly recommend visiting here both daytime and nighttime. At night, there is a street vendor food market with desserts that is highly recommended. Search Google for this name as it is not in AirBnb's database. Located on Calle Alfa Sur, near the main road intersection.
