Harbour Road is worth exploring. Interesting curiosity shops are situated on either side of this road which leads down the the functional harbour. You might even be lucky to buy freshly caught fish - straight off the boat! There are some restaurants and a coffee shop in the street.

Betty's Bay is situated between the mountains and the ocean and the weather can change rapidly. Pack your swimwear, shorts, t-shirts, summer dresses, sunscreen, hat and flip flops, as well as jeans, warm tops, a jacket and comfortable walking shoes. Mostly local restaurants are very casual and you are not expected to get dressed up. Smart casual is about as smart as it gets!
