If you're downtown and need a pick me up, this is a great spot to grab a cup of coffee! They have a simple, focused menu and are expert in preparing all their drinks. One of the best pour-overs in the city too!

The restaurant is conveniently located right on the St Charles streetcar line, and I recommend getting there early for the oyster special.

If I had to define how New Orleans "does" craft beer, this would be it.

Ready to escape the craziness of the French Quarter? Check out City Park! This massive city green space (bigger than Central Park in NYC!) is a great place to take a leisurely stroll among old oak trees and beautiful water features. The park also has tons of activities including a free outdoor sculpture garden, mini golf, swan boat rental, an art museum, golf courses, a coffee and beignet stand, and much much more!

I cannot recommend this museum enough. Even if you're not a history buff, the National WWII Museum is a truly impressive experience and world-class attraction. The museum is huge and includes a range of different exhibits and activities. You could easily spend 2-3 days exploring everything, so pace yourself accordingly depending on how much time you have and what you want to see. Do not miss the US Freedom Pavilion which houses a jaw-dropping collection of aircraft and other vehicles.

If you've found Bourbon Street to be a bit too much, you might feel a bit more at ease on Frenchmen Street (though it still gets pretty crazy!).
