We love New Melones Lake. The Marina has boat, patio cruisers, jet ski, paddle boards and more to rent. Plenty of fishing as well. A Big lake with many beautiful views! Plenty of trails for hiking & biking. Day use areas are available, however, we highly recommend seeing the lake on a boat.

Beautiful lake for swimming, Kayaking or SUP as well as fishing. Can get busy on the weekends, so we recommend visiting mid-week.

A must see if visiting the Gold Country! Great old downtown to visit with the family. We love the Candy Kitchen, old Saloon, bowling alley & characters dressed in the streets!
