There are many, many white-water rafting outfits 15 minutes from here in Famous Coloma & Loomis. Garden Valley has a park, post office, TrueValue hardware store, gas station/convenience store, coffee trailer, fire station, beautiful high school track to exercise around, pizza place, and burger restaurant that serves beer & wine.
