Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket are picturesque islands lying to the south of the Cape and only accessible by boat or plane. There is no bridge. The Steamship Authority and Hy-line Cruises operate daily ferry schedules throughout the season. Bring your bike or rent one when you get there to explore outside of town.
Please note that parking is NOT available at the ferry terminals. There are convenient pay parking lots. The Steamship Authority has convenient and safe parking lots, with shuttles that will take you to the ferry, free of charge.
