Old German Bakery serves true German food by using traditional German recipes to make all food from scratch. The crowd tells it all – this place is amazing! Tables do turn fast so don’t worry if there's a line. We recommend roaming to the bakery counter for strudels, croissants, and other delicious baked goods.

All-natural Angus beef and fresh-caught seafood are on the menu, and it’s all delicious. The adjacent saloon is beautiful, fun, and booked every weekend with good ol’ Texas music; check their website to see who’s playing. The bar stays open until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Otto's has a seasonal menu as they source many ingredients from local, organic, or sustainable farms, ranches, and fisheries. Their beverage program includes dynamic wines, artisan cocktails, and craft beers! Definitely a local fav!

Dinner & A Show! First, check out Alamo Springs Cafe across the way! Old Tunnel State Park is an abandoned railroad tunnel, part of the Fredericksburg and Northern Railway line, which closed in 1942. Repurposed by nature, this bat cave of sorts is now Texas’s smallest state park, where a spinning monolith of aerial critters—some traveling as high as 10,000 feet and as far as 60 miles and back—issues forth into the sky. Burgers and bats: it’s like going to a fancy restaurant and a Broadway show—only better.
