It provides an antidote to the happy-hour, sugar rush excess of the Simon-Dach-Strasse and is stuffed with comfy sofas on which to recline with a drink in hand. It’s still a bit of a dive, with its bare brick walls, but the ambience is relaxed and friendly and the cocktails a cut above what’s available elsewhere in the neighbourhood.
