There are many activities to choose from walking, cycling, dark sky adventures, birdwatching, boat trips, museums and more...if you want to plan in advance, contact me and I will happily send you the full listing. This is also available in the cottage, but you may want to think about it in advance!
This is a spectacular Beacons walk around 20 minutes drive from here, and one of many.
We are located within the UNESCO Fforest Fawr Geopark in the west of the Brecon Beacons National Park and there is an abundance of walking (Llyn y Fan, the western end of the Brecon Beacons path, around the Usk Reservoir, Garn Goch the Cambrian Mountains, Cilycwm to name a few) and outdoor activities to choose from: from fishing, to road and mountain biking ( you will already know if you plan to do this!). We have collected some of our favourite walks and recommendations in a brochure which will be at the property.

On the outskirts of Llandeilo is the National Trust owned Newton House and Deer Park. There is a lovely walk to the ruins of Dinefwr Castle (you can park on the drive towards the main property or free is you are not a National Trust member).
