Vanderbilt Mansion and grounds
The grounds have spectacular views of the Hudson River and Catskills Mountains. There is a 45-50 min waking loop that is one of my favorites. The gardens are a must see in season
You can also tour the home which I highly recommend.

This is a must see, the views are spectacular! The structure and the history of the old railroad bridge is fascinating. You can walk, bike, roller blade or run across the walkway or extend your adventure for miles in either direction.

Everything on the menu I have tried is delicious! Spicy peanut bowl is my favorite! It is always crowded at lunch time but we manage to get a table. Located just under the entrance to the Walkway over the Hudson.

Delicious Italian pastries, cookies and cakes. They sell holiday themed chocolates depending on the season. They sell Italian bread on Friday and Saturday but sell out quickly.
