Absolutely stunning waterfall, do the long walk or short walk. Can swim in the aqua blue river further upstream. I think its one of the most beautiful natural features in all of the region.

Great breakfast and lunch food, good service, right by the beach. Busy place, but very accommodating and it is away from the hustle and bustle of the main mount shops. Easy to get a carpark.

In my opinion 😂 it is the best fish and chips in town. Fresh snapper, good chips and good prices.

Что взять с собой
Sun Protection
Nz sun is very powerful and you need sunblock or sun protection always available. Even sitting in a cafe for 10 mins can burn you.
Транспорт
Uber, bike or car
Unfortunately the public transport in Tauranga is not great. I recommend your own car, Uber or Taxi. Taxis are very expensive though. Plenty of people cycle and skateboard around the mount too.

The Mount Summit
It is a hard trek to the top but totally worth it for the views and scenery. Just do it! And try wear grippy shoes
