This is absolutely family favourite Sunday arvo/night. Bring some pizza dough and toppings and have the chefs cook it for you in the wood-fired ovens while the kids burn off some energy in the amazing playground.

Lovely spot for a walk. When you step out of the house cross the road and keep going down Central Avenue. It is a dead end and at the end is a little lane way that takes you to the creek. If you turn right after the bridge you can walk up to main road and to bus stops etc or keep following the rivulet up towards the mountain / kunanyi.

Allow yourself a full day and enjoy the numerous bars and the surrounding outdoor areas. We find food is quite pricy there so we like to pack a picnic lunch and enjoy it on the grass near the Delvoye pavilion, which is behind the library round house. You can even grab a drink from the wine-bar to take down there!
The void bar is on the lowest floor of the museum is amazing and does incredible cocktails and the Turrel work at sunset and sunrise is beautiful.

To put it simply - Going up Kunanyi is a must for any visitor. It’s unique and beautiful, plus there are killer views, a great coffee place and awesome walking tracks for all levels.
