Experience snow capped peaks with rain-forest cascading down steep slopes into the sea. There are 3 principal places to visit: Milford Sound; Doubtful Sound and Dusky Sound. Milford Sound is the easiest to get to as you can drive there in your car. Remember your camera and try to pick a sunny day for your visit.

Experience snow capped peaks with rain-forest cascading down steep slopes into the sea. There are 3 principal places to visit: Milford Sound; Doubtful Sound and Dusky Sound. Milford Sound is the easiest to get to as you can drive there in your car. Remember your camera and try to pick a sunny day for your visit.
With New Zealand's highest Peak surrounded by glaciers this is a stunning spot all year round. There are some interesting walk perhaps the best of which is to watch the ice bergs in the moraine lakes at the end of the glaciers. Lake Pukaki next to Mt Cook is the most stunning turquoise colour.

A must do is the checkered room confusing large with small and see how quickly you can solve the maize ... it took me 30 minutes ... thats too long ... right?
