It's one of the few places in SF where you can enjoy the beautiful scenic outdoors and it's FLAT (or you can combine it with outdoors)! I love going for long runs (or walks) here, or bringing my kids to the beach to play on warm days. You can see the Golden Gate bridge, Alcatraz, Presidio, and Marin Headlands from almost any angle.

This is our go-to place for a large shopping trip. It's not too far and carries everything you need for daily grocery shopping or a special picnic, including a large selection of wine.

Sometimes, you just gotta buy Chex and Miracle Whip and Coca-Cola, and Whole Foods just won't do! This is one of the nicest Safeway Markets I've ever been to. It has a great selection of organic produce and humanely raised meats. It also has a deli counter, decent cheese selection, and a huge wine selection.

My favorite (hipster) coffee shop. The baristas know my kids by sight and are always friendly. The coffee and baked goods are SO good.

There are so many good Italian restaurants in the neighborhood but this sleeper restaurant is one of my favorites because of the quality of the pasta, the attentiveness of the owner, and romantic/cozy atmosphere.
