This "koppie" (small hilloc) is a 10 minute walk from our house and another +- 15 minutes to the summit where a surprise awaits you. it also provides a superb panoramic view of Hermanus and Walker Bay. It is well worth the effort.

Renting a car is the best way for a tourist to travel around South Africa but the "wine hopper" is good for visiting the wine estates in the Hemel en Aarde valley. Bicycles for rent are available in Hemanus.
