This is maybe the best seafood restaurant in Amsterdam. Located in Noord, across the water, reached by metro or ferry, this old warehouse turned restaurant has fresh fish every day. Great for a gin Tonic as well. You wont run into too many tourists here, and the vibe is very chill. Food is amazing.

You wont run into too many tourists here, and the vibe is very chill. Food is amazing.
Lion Noir is an amazing restaurant. French fusion, with a fresh and new menu every season. Lunch and dinner plus an amazing cocktailbar. Great for special occasions or celebrating!

Spaghetteria is a great pasta restaurant (glutenfree options avaialable) They have several locations. A small menu, a prosecco and a scroppino for dessert, this is a great choice for a quick and delicious meal!

As the name says, this is a MEAT restaurant! They have probably the best ribs in the city. Books up pretty fast (they have several locations) its best to make a reservation. This is also one of the few restaurants that stays open late and offers late night dining until 03.00.

De pijp is filled with little bars, restaurants, boutiques, shops, home to the Albert Cuyp market and a lovely park. It is a great area to walk around, look in the shops, have a coffee, meet some locals.

The nine streets is the area located between the biggest canals of Amsterdam. Most of the shops are a little bit more expensive, great to walk around with lovely views of the canals and some nice bars for a coffee or cocktail.

Noord is the up and coming neighbourhood of Amsterdam. Located across the IJ behind central station, it can be reached by metro or ferry. There are many restaurants, also the EYE film museum is located there. Another great area is t' Twiske, a large nature reserve in Noord.

An area that up until a few years ago was not the nicest area to walk around, has really improved over the past few years. Many new bars, cafes, restaurants and little shops, especially in the Javastraat make this a vibrant and cool area. Restaurants like Bar Basquiat, Benji's or vijfnulvijf are great for a snack, lunch or dinner. Also in this area, the Tropenmuseum, a great museum next to the lovely Oosterpark.

They have amazing old squares, some great museums and also canals! A little bit less crowded than Amsterdam, Haarlem is a great alternative and you will probably see some things you weren't expecting to find in Holland!
Our beach! Reached by bus or train see the Dutch seaside and enjoy the sun or have a nice wintery walk along the shore. There are many different places to have a summer cocktail or a hot chocolate.
