Who does not appreciate authentic Japanese cuisine? This place it has to going on, must say that on an international basis, one of the best places we've been for Japanese food. Worth to try it if you somehow get tired of tacos jaja! And is literally a stone throw from the house.

Well... these guys... it is a little tiny hole in the wall, literally. But they have all the tacos, all the kinds there exists. Cabeza, Carnitas, Pastor, Campechanos, Suadero... These guys are pretty great. If you're having a late night craving of all the tacos, this is your spot, just take an uber there and back.

This place is owned by our really good friend, super talented chef. A little cozy restaurant on a quiet street, but it is the very best hand roll and sushi bar, they have “the fish”. If you looking for a casual yet blow your mind meal, check Yoru and ask for Alan, tell Mafu and Marcela says “hi!”

Super close to the house. Only a 20min walk from our home. Absolutely beautiful experience to walk around this castle int he middle of Chapultepec woods. Here you’ll get a bit of the history of Mexico city and how and when was build, interesting facts, murals and ever changing art expositions. Definitely a must in Mexico City, the history and beauty of this place is so worth it for a whole day to spend at Chapultepec. Take the tour, spend the day wondering, enjoy the view.

This is one of the places in Mexico city, where you can spend the all day walking around and appreciating the history of the city. I'll highly recommend to check: PALACIO DE BELLAS ARTES EDIFICIO DE CORREOS CATEDRAL TEMPLO MAYOR (these are pre-hispanic ruins under the big catedral) HOTEL DE MEXICO (the views from its rooftop are pretty great, the drinks are not the best, but worth it!) CANTINA LA OPERA (classic cantina, live trio music, good interesting histories about the revolution) TORRE LATINO (go all the way up for a massive view of the city, sunset of a little after dark for epic effect)

Tepoztlan! This place is only an hour and half from Mexico City, it so worth to visit for the day or even stay for the weekend. The scene and the mountains are epic. It is a beautiful typical Mexican town. Theres goos food and street market where you can find all kinds from souvenir shopping to clothes or organic local goods. Visit "margarita concept" a local and amazing hotel with lots of history and yes, the best margaritas in town.
