The best cinnamon buns around! And lots of other delicious baked goods including sourdough. It’s on-route to the house from the motorway/if you go to Truro. A good spot to drop in as your arrive or as you leave for some snacks for your journey.

This is just up and over the hill, about a 20 minute walk away. A small, picturesque fishing village.

If you are a confident sailor and the wind is right, you could sail the drascombe here (or rent a speed boat off Bob at Paddle & Sail). There’s a good pub and Glendurgan National Trust.

One of the largest beaches near to us! Stunning and can join the coastal path from it. The Nare hotel and the Thirstea Co. van are there for lunches/hot drinks.

Super easy to walk to from Portscatho or there’s a car park at the top. The Hidden Hut can be found here. A lovely, picturesque beach. Likely to be busy in season.
