Beautiful Balluta - the square has plenty of nice cafes and restaurants, and there is a small man made beach at certain times of the year - just next to Neptune's our nearest big swimming pool.

A day in Gozo if you've never been goes without saying on a trip to Malta. Take the boat, go to Xlendi - try the Boathouse restaurant for lunch and visit Victoria. Fab !

The only way to get to Valletta - there is nothing like taking the 10 minute ferry right from Sliema to Valletta - it casts you back in time and it makes you smile. Forget the road....

The famous seaside market on a Sunday drags in the crowds to walk through the fish market and see the other stalls, but its equally good on other days and less people too - plenty of nice restaurants to enjoy lunch at.

Great New Zealand / Australian food deli with fresh fruit smoothies great coffee and cakes. Take out portions of great stuff - including Vegan Lasagne, Stuffed aubergines, Chicken Parmigana and more... possible the best carrot cake in Europe.... You get the picture.
