Because the food is great and the setting in the Parc des Bastions is unique. The service can be a bit slow sometimes, but the atmosphere is worth it.

Because it's open 7/7 non stop from 11 to midnight, extremely rare in Geneva! and it's the best place to get a consistently tasty rotisserie chicken or a good salad for a great price, in a friendly atmosphere. It's also in the old town, convenient and scenic.

Elegant, cosy and famous for its artwork on the walls, this restaurant is also great for a Sunday brunch. When the weather allows, there's also a large outdoor patio in the back ;-)

Sightseeing
Walk along the dock and get right underneath. The water fountain is 140 meters high and danses with the wind almost everyday. It kicks at 10AM, worth being around for good pictures. From there you can take a public taxi boat to the other side ;-)

Amazing viewpoint of all the region at the top of the Saleve mountain. Take the bus 8 to the last stop then walk across the border into France. From there it's a 10 minute stroll to get to the cable car, or, if you like hiking, to walk the 1.5 hour trail up the mountain! And get back down with the same cable car. Bring snacks - there's only a small snackbar at the top.
