Peaceful, picturesque village with a river for walking and a little village shop and tearoom. Also a wonderful playground which overlooks open fields and grazing livestock. Bring a take away coffee from the village shop and enjoy the scenery while the children play.

Quite busy with tourists but exceptionally pretty and several shops including a deli, a cheese shop, a kitchen wares shop and my favourite, a brush shop.

Woollen textiles and clothing, small museum about the wool trade, gifts. A really nice tea room which also has tables in a peaceful garden.

Village shop and post office. Just across the lane from Teasel Cottage and stocks all the essentials as well as home-cooked frozen meals. Limited opening hours but a real treat of a shop.
