Although the title is guest house, there is a great tea room there. Ideally situated not far from Thiepval. It is open 9 - 5, for drinks or food. There is also a large amount of historical items and even a trench from the 1st World War.

Excellent restaurant, just off the main square in Hesdin. Not a huge menu, but the food is excellent. There is a la carte. Also et menus. The menus are not in English. Children are welcome. Please not there is not a vegetarian choice for main meals.

A must when doing the battlefields and the memorials. Opened in 2019, you can see the blacksmith, carpenter and stonemason at work. You are provided with an audio guide, which explains the amazing work that they have done and are still doing. Like so many of the memorials in Northern France, they do not charge. There is however a donation box.
